The Social Poets: Obama: You Got Your Minions, I Got Mine: Truth Team

Obama, 2012, truth team

The Social Poets: Obama: You Got Your Minions, I Got Mine: Truth Team: From Denny: President Obama touts new websites of gathering two million followers to do the work of his political team for free.

It's the Democrats' answer to the Bush years' juggernaut of crushing the opposition. But then most politicians and their handlers are men and men like smash mouth sports. They are also cheap when it comes to being employers for troops on the ground.

Stuffed political war chests

Team Obama brags they have collected over $250 million for their political war chest. They were aiming for over $1 billion. You really have to ask yourself one question: If either political side of the aisle is willing to collect this much money for a campaign then just how crooked are all of them? America got sold out by both sides a long time ago.

The Social Poets: Prez Gingrich? Why Not And 2nd Wife Tells All 2

The Social Poets: Prez Gingrich? Why Not And 2nd Wife Tells All 2: From Denny: Fresh off a primary win from South Carolina it's clear that the conservative block of the Republican Party and the Moral Majority are as amoral as their favorite candidate, Newt Gingrich. Newt enjoys a mean-spirited reputation among conservatives and they are lapping it up.

Watch Newtie chastise the debate press for daring to speak the truth or ask him about the truth of who he truly is. The bully is hard-charging, defying and terrorizing all in his way.

Vett Newtie? Are you kidding? He is bullying the media - and his supporters are screaming for more. Perversion and cruelty are now celebrated as wonderful, embodied in the person of Newt Gingrich.

The Social Poets: Report: Up For Auction, Who Is Buying Up Our State Judges?

On the AirImage by M.V. Jantzen via Flickr The Social Poets: Report: Up For Auction, Who Is Buying Up Our State Judges?: From Denny: Author Charles Hall, of the report "Justice At Stake, Interest Groups Dominate Judicial-Election Spending" and Landon Rowland, Chairman Emeritus of the Janus Capital Group discuss America's bought government and the rapid pace to buy up our legal system on the Dylan Ratigan Show.

Our politics are rigged and now our legal system, via state court elections, is getting bought up as well by money interests. The federal system of judges have to be appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate but the state and county level is far easier to purchase - with no oversight to detect it or enforce if judges have been compromised.

The danger is that money interests are frantically busy right now buying up state and county judges for influence and arm twisting so they can win in court. It's the Koch Brothers, and other special interest groups, who figured out that the majority of the law in America is decided on the smaller legal levels and they seek to corrupt that system.

The Social Poets: Courtesy of Ralph Nader: Who Will Be Obamas Democratic 2012 Challengers?

The Social Poets: Courtesy of Ralph Nader: Who Will Be Obamas Democratic 2012 Challengers?: From Denny: Might the 2012 election finally get off the snooze button? Ralph Nader, for decades the legendary consumer advocate, hopes to liven things up a bit for President Obama. No one is happy with the GOP offerings and few are enthused about a second term for Obama.

How a primary challenge can help America

Nader's insurgency effort to recruit a pack of liberals to run against Obama should prove to be some exciting politics. At the very least it will accomplish two things: one, it could give the Democrats a chance to compare Obama to other possibilities and ensure his standing in the party to get him reelected should he perform well with them.

Two, some hard-charging liberal base competition will push Obama to quit masquerading as a Republican in Democrat's clothing and give a hard push to helping the middle class reinstate their job losses and put this chaotic economy back on track.
